This will be a special show! Adam Gimble, from Rookie Card, has put together a huge ensemble of San Diego musicians to perform a rotating doors version of WILCO'S A.M. (Start to finish!). Billy and Bobby will be playing on three of the 13 tunes. PLUS, Billy Midnight will be opening the show with a 45 minute set of scorching country, rock and boogie! We'll go on early, being that it's a Monday - seriously folks - 8pm. If yer an old school Billy Midnight fan who's always like, "Man, they go on too late. I've got to wake up at 8am for my job at the screen printing shop" - then this is the show for you. Midnight in a rare early performance!
If you've never heard Wilco's A.M., do yourself a favor and pick it up before Monday. As most of you know, back in the day, Jeff Tweedy and his band helped spearhead the mid-90s alt-country movement with this fabulous nugget of twangy, scratchy pop songs. This album is very dear to everyone in our band. We're honored and stoked to be part of this show.
